    When we arrived our hotel room wasn't ready, the property help quickly moved us into a better room. They were plesant/helpful with directions to area attractions. We would stay here again and recommend it to travelers.

    pleasant stay. The hotel rooms were nicely furnished, with touches you would not normally expect in this class of property. The beds were comfortable, with great quality bedding. The check-in/check-out was quick, accurate and efficient. For this cost point, the property definitely exceeded expectations.

    Make sure when you make a reservation you request back of property. Front of hotel is on a busy and loud street. requested change & front counter told me they were booked in addition when said it was a waste of money all of sudden they had 2 openings - not quite honest. The bedspread and pillows obviously hadn't been washed for quite some time - smelled like sweaty heads.

    was in Monterey on vacation and found the De Anza to be a nice property. It appears to be either new or recently renovated. The hotel rooms were neat, clean, and comfortable. Will stay again and would recommend to others.

    went on a trip w/my parents. the service was excelent! am a hotel soap collecter and called for some soap adn 2 mins. later got a handful of soap!. do not like best westerns that much in addition this one was good
